The Work At Home Freedom ~ Tips & Advice

Yes, its that time of year again when people start their search for the right home business that will allow them to earn that extra income working from home.  Many have thought about it, as the idea of being able to work from home in your living room on the sofa is extremely appealing.

In today's economy we are all looking for ways to earn an extra income.  Working from home is one of the best ways we can do that.  We all need money for food, shelter and now for the up and coming Holiday Season. 

People everywhere are trying to get jobs, earn more income or just trying to keep the status they currently have.  Many have had hours cut or are not earning what they are worth or have even been laid off.

Now many have begun their search online for the great business opportunity that will allow them to earn the extra money they need.  I wanted to write to you today about some things you should be on the look out for.  You need to watch out for all the 'scams' out there.  Many will contact you saying they will help you make 1000 or more each week in your first month.  RUN RUN RUN away as fast as you can!  That right there my friend is a SCAM!  Those commercials we all see on TV?  "I made 10k a month in my first 6 months!"  Maybe so, however they WERE with another company and jumped ship and took their entire downline with them!  If they tell you that you can make money from home by doing nothing...  RUN away because its a scam!  If you want to be successful you need to WORK!  So many people have spent their hard earned cash on an illusion of a "Get Rich Quick Scheme".   But, is there really a business opportunity that could really make you money?

There are many scams out there and many legitimate opportunities.  There are people who will try to take advantage of what you really want.  There are some who will tell you everything you want to hear so you believe they are legitimate when they are nothing but a scam.

My business partner Jennifer May herself was caught up in a scam before she found the company we are currently with.  She was scammed out of over 15,000 in her search for the right home business. 

The reason I share Jennifer's story is because she herself has said, "I know there are a lot of scams out there. Many will lie to you just to get your money."  But because of this she is an amazing, loving, caring and generous leader with our company.  She writes amazing articles for those who want to work from home.  It is our passion as a team to help many work from home to find their true freedom. 

Being business owners with a company, we want to be reputable and we want those around us to know we are honest and caring individuals who are out to help.  We've learned along our Path For Freedom and we want to share with those that are currently searching.

When you want to work from home you want to protect yourself from the many scams that are out there.   Some of the things you want to ask are:

• Company name, phone number and address
• Person talking to you: name and phone number.
• Google the person's name you are speaking with. This will give you an idea of what type of business partner this person will be.  
• Ask questions. Don't be shy with them.  Questions about the company, how long have they been in business, are they a credited company?  What type of support does this individual offer or not?
• Talk with other people in the business. ask what support they give.    
• Team and support are a HUGE factor in starting your home business. You need someone who will always be there for you.  Not just in the beginning but throughout your journey in your new business. When you know you have team support you know you will have help in all aspects of your business.
  

Those should give you a good idea of what the opportunity is about and also the person you would be working with.  You need to know that the person you sign up with will be the person who trains and mentors you.  So, if it took them WEEKS to call you, imagine what it will be like when you join?

Always remember that if a person tells you that you do not need to do anything to make money that its a scam.  If you are looking for a work at home job, please do not pay anyone for a job.  The only time you will have to pay is if you are starting a business opportunity or home business. 

There are many work at home jobs out there but you need to educated yourself on what is out there.  Many times you will need to have some education in the computer field or know someone to get you in the door.  Stuffing envelopes, typing and craft jobs are scams. Very few actually pay you any money and when they do pay you money you would have to put in about 12 hours to make around $10.00!
